Knots’n’Tangles K9 Pool – Terms & Conditions
By confirming your booking with Knots’n’Tangles K9 Pool, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
General Use
The pool is for fun and recreational swimming only. We are not hydrotherapists and do not offer medical advice or therapy.
No lifeguard or hydrotherapist will be present during your session.
Sessions are 30 minutes long and include the time taken to enter and exit the pool.
If you are more than 10 minutes late, your session will be cancelled with no refund. Late arrivals will not have their time extended.
Dogs must access the pool via the ramp. Humans must use the pool ladder. Jumping, diving, or accessing the pool from the sides is strictly prohibited.
Health & Hygiene
All dogs must be clean and brushed to remove dirt and loose hair before attending.
Dogs must not be fed within 4 hours of their swim.
Dogs must be allowed to toilet before the session. If your dog fouls in the pool, a £100 cleaning fee will apply, and the session will end immediately.
Only dogs that are fit, healthy, and free from contagious illnesses (e.g. skin, eye, or ear infections) may attend. If your dog has a health condition, please consult us before booking.
Owner Responsibilities
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times unless inside the pool area.
Upon exiting the pool, dogs must be placed back on a lead immediately and taken directly to your vehicle.
Owners are fully responsible for their dogs at all times, including behaviour and any injuries or incidents.
You must inform us if your dog is reactive, aggressive, or has a history of biting. This may require booking a Solo Session.
Any dog displaying aggression during a group session will be asked to leave immediately with no refund.
Children & Safety
Children are welcome, but:
They must be able to swim.
They must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.
Children must not enter the pool unless:
A Solo Session has been booked;
An adult accompanies them in the pool;
Only your own dog is present in the session.
Knots’n’Tangles accepts no liability for injury to children caused by dogs or any other incident while on site.
Pool Use & Conduct
A maximum of 5 dogs in the pool at one time, with one person per dog, unless previously agreed with Knots’n’Tangles.
Humans entering the pool must wear appropriate swimwear and footwear for safety and hygiene.
You may enter the pool with your dog, but you do so entirely at your own risk.
Pushing, shoving, or throwing dogs into the pool is strictly prohibited. Anyone doing so will be asked to leave immediately.
Any toilet accidents on the premises must be cleaned up by the owner. Waste bins are provided.
Cancellations & Payments
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the session will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment will be charged in full.
Payment must be made at the time of booking. No bookings will be held without payment.
Equipment & Toys
Life jackets for dogs are available and must be returned after use. Owners are responsible for determining if their dog requires one.
Toys are provided. Please return them to the bucket before leaving.
If bringing your own toys, ensure they are clean, safe, and removed after use.
Media and Privacy
- Knots’n’Tangles is not responsible for any photographs or videos taken and shared on social media by other customers.
Liability Disclaimer
While we take reasonable steps to ensure the safety of all visitors, Knots’n’Tangles accepts no liability for:
Injury, loss, or damage to any person, dog, vehicle, or personal belongings;
Incidents occurring as a result of not adhering to these terms and conditions;
Injuries caused by your dog or to your dog while on site.
Agreement
By making a booking, you confirm that:
You have read and understood these terms and conditions;
You agree to comply with them fully;
You accept full responsibility for your dog(s) and any persons attending with you.
