iPET Network is proud to have developed the only regulated Canine Emergency First Aid qualification in the canine and feline sector.

The iPET Network Level 3 Award in Canine Emergency First Aid is ideal for both pet owners and animal professionals who want to be prepared in case a dog requires emergency care. The course covers the most common canine emergencies, including:

  • Treating injuries and dressing wounds

  • Allergic reactions and insect stings

  • Poisoning

  • Choking

  • Seizures

  • CPR

  • Hypothermia

  • And more

This qualification offers a balanced mix of theory and practical learning, giving candidates the confidence and knowledge to act effectively in real-life emergency situations.

Certification Validity

This qualification is valid for 3 years. After that, a refresher training day is required to maintain certification.

Course Cost

  • First Aid – £145
    A £70 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 3 weeks before the course start date.
